The Liberals, they devised a surplus money making plan
To claw back old age monies from each fighting man
Their efforts were sneaky and we weren't observant
They placed soldiers and cops in with civil servants
Government civies have a Union and they work 9 to 5
Whilst soldiers are lucky to come home alive
The civies they get O.T. when they work after hours
Soldiers sleep in the mud during tropical showers
Some soldiers get wounded and some of them die
The survivors they get clawed back and they wonder why?

Politicians do not get clawed back when they reach 65
So why claw back old soldiers who served and survived?
The P.M. could fix this with a wave of his pen
We need a new "pension" for our fighting men
Let us fix it right now for each courageous young man!
Let's not claw back the heroes of Afghanistan!
